K-GN impact and jetting tool cleans sand and proppant plugs off the bottom of a wellbore.
Designed as component of BHA, the tool consists of a body with thread connection, tooth-type mule shoe, spring-fed valve with jetting nozzle. Hard teeth mechanically destroy debris on the bottom. Inertia of stretched and released string provides jarring force to destroy sand and proppant crust. The tool is run in open position.
To remove debris, use reverse circulation. For jetting, switch back to normal circulation. Then the valve shuts off and fluid starts flowing through jetting nozzle, destroying solid crust on the bottom.
